Abstract

Medical history summary: The patient, male, 73 years old, was admitted to the hospital for "repeated coughing, sputum coughing for more than eight years, intermittent sputum with blood for half a year". Bronchoscopy is proposed after admission to determine the type of pathology. In order to reduce the risk of bleeding on biopsy, we given transcatheter bronchial artery embolization (BAE), after transembolization, patients stop hemoptysis, Bronchoscopy was performed with little intraoperative bleeding and smooth biopsy. postoperative bronchoscopy: (lower right lobe) non-small cell malignancy, squamous cell carcinoma. After a definitive diagnosis, the patient underwent intravenous chemotherapy in the oncology department. Later follow-up: patients who had chemotherapy side effects after 5 intravenous chemotherapy sessions in the oncology department were reluctant to continue intravenous chemotherapy,he was given transcatheter bronchial artery perfusion chemotherapy (BAI), which had few side effects and good results.

Key words: bronchoscopy; squamous cell carcinoma; catheter bronchial artery infusion chemotherapy
