Clinical study on the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, acupoint application combined with papaverine
中药熏药、穴位贴敷联合罂粟碱治疗糖尿病周围神经病的临床研究

摘要

目的 研究在糖尿病周围神经病治疗中采取中药熏药、穴位贴敷联合罂粟碱治疗方案的改善作用。方法 研究对象为糖尿病周围神经病患者54例，纳入时间2024年5月-2025年10月，为全部患者提供中药熏药、穴位贴敷联合罂粟碱治疗，对比治疗前后中医证候积分、自我感觉、疼痛程度、神经功能损伤程度、周围神经传导速度的差异。结果 治疗后中医证候积分低于治疗前（P＜0.05）；治疗后自我感觉、疼痛程度优于治疗前（P＜0.05）；治疗后周围神经病变检查异常率相比于治疗前较低（P＜0.05）；治疗后周围神经传导速度相比于治疗前明显好转（P＜0.05）。结论 在糖尿病周围神经病中采取中药熏药、穴位贴敷联合罂粟碱治疗效果显著，能够减轻四肢麻木、肢末疼痛、倦怠乏力、手足畏寒、感觉减退、头晕目眩症状，改善自我感觉，降低疼痛水平和神经功能损伤程度，神经传导速度明显加快，具有重要的临床应用意义。

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) fumigation plus acupoint application combined with papaverine in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
Methods A total of 54 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were enrolled from May 2024 to October 2025. All patients were treated with TCM fumigation, acupoint application and papaverine. TCM syndrome scores, subjective symptoms, pain severity, neurological impairment and peripheral nerve conduction velocity were compared before and after treatment.
Results After treatment, the TCM syndrome score was significantly lower than that before treatment (P<0.05). Subjective symptoms and pain severity were both improved compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The abnormal rate of peripheral nerve function examination was lower than that before treatment (P<0.05). Peripheral nerve conduction velocity was significantly increased compared with that before treatment (P<0.05).
Conclusion   TCM fumigation, acupoint application combined with papaverine has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. It can relieve limb numbness, distal extremity pain, lassitude and fatigue, cold hands and feet, hypoesthesia, dizziness and vertigo, improve subjective sensation, reduce pain intensity and neurological impairment, and significantly accelerate peripheral nerve conduction velocity, which is of important clinical application value.
